Get on the Journey
Children
Children, oh children, are God’s gift of truth.
Blessed children are the best thing that can happen to you.
They will test you and try you from morning till night.
But when you look in their eyes, their love shines so bright.
Chorus:
You never love like you love your child.
You never care like you care for your own.
Flesh and blood can’t be broken, it’s a gift from the Lord.
You love your child like you’re loved by the Lord.
Father watch our dear children as only you can.
Stand beside them and guide them with your almighty hand.
I offer my children for You to embrace.
Watch over them, dear Lord, with your loving grace.
Chorus:
You never love like you love your child.
You never care like you care for your own.
Flesh and blood can’t be broken, it’s a gift from the Lord.
You love your child like you’re loved by the Lord.
God loves His Son more than man loves his own.
But He gave him up as profits story foretold.
The blameless Lamb bore our sins, our shame hung on that tree.
Forgive us God, Your Son, died to set us free.
Chorus:
You never love like you love your child.
You never care like you care for your own.
Flesh and blood can’t be broken, it’s a gift from the Lord.
You love your child like you’re loved by the Lord.

Get on the Journey
You’ve got to get on the journey
You’ve got to stay on the road,
You see, His plan’s in place, God knows your face,
And He will help you carry your load.
If you give Him your troubles,
If you give Him your cares,
You see He’s promised us and we can trust,
That He will always be there.
You’ve got to stand up for Jesus,
You’ve got to hold His banner high,
And He will light the way to eternal day
When you learn His battle cry!
You’ve got to love one another,
You’ve got to do as He would do.
You’ve got to love the Lord, above all others,
And the Lord will carry you!
Carry you; yea the Lord will carry you.
You’ve got to get on the journey
You’ve got to stay on the road,

Grandma's Hands
Grandma’s hands, restin’ on the Bible.
Grandma’s hands, prayin’ to the Lord.
It was Grandma’s hands; they did everything for us,
It was Grandma’s hands that brought me to the Lord.
She would work all day, slavin’ away,
See her man hade up and died one hot August day.
With six mouths to feed and a business in need,
She worked from dawn to dusk and then she took care of us.
Chorus
It was Grandma’s hands, restin’ on the Bible.
Grandma’s hands, prayin’ to the Lord.
It was Grandma’s hands; they did everything for us,
It was Grandma’s hands that brought me to the Lord.
We would all sit ’round; she would read the Book aloud,
She would laugh and sing the Word would ring with a special sound.
The Gospel we knew, ’cause she made it true,
She was the proof, the living truth of the golden rule.
Chorus
It was small river town, depression was around,
It was scrimp and scrape and payin’ late, was the best she could do.
The strays she’d take in, no matter the sin,
When there was need, oh there she’d be, inviting them in.
When my Grandma passed away, the church was filled all day,
The lives she’d touched, she’d done so much.
If you needed a hand, oh she’d have a plan,
She’d kneel and pray and then she’d say “we’re all in God’s hands.”
Chorus
To the Lord (Repeat 1X)
I Found Them Prayin'
I came up to the kitchen door of grandma’s house round noon,
But grandma wasn’t standing where she usually would do.
It seemed so strange not to find her there; I had to walk right through,
And I found my grandma kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to You.
Chorus:
In the middle of the day, I found her prayin’
She was kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to You.
In the middle of the day, I found her prayin’
To this day what I remember she was kneeling down to You.
Been pullin’ weeds and mowin’ lawn round grandpa’s house today,
I’d done my chores so I went inside to see what he would pay.
It seemed so strange not to find him where I thought that he would be,
And I found my grandpa kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to Thee.
Chorus:
In the middle of the day, I found him prayin’
He was kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to You.
In the middle of the day, I found him prayin’
To this day what I remember he was kneeling down to You.
Been kneeling down most everyday a little after noon.
Ever since my grandma and grandpa taught me how to pray to You.
They taught me well to bend my knee and pray Lord to You.
Watch over them as their kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to You.
Chorus:
In the middle of the day, I found them prayin’
They were kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to You.
In the middle of the day, I found them prayin’
To this day what I remember is them kneeling down to You.
The good Lord’s blessed me, now you see, with children of my own.
And I’m teaching them to kneel and pray just like I’d been shown.
I’m sure grandma and grandpa are looking down and prayin’ Lord to You,
So pleased to see their children kneeling down and prayin’ too.
Chorus:
In the middle of the day, we all are prayin’
We are kneeling down and prayin’ Lord to You.
In the middle of the day, we all are prayin’
Every day we all will kneel down and pray in the afternoons. Repeat 2x
Live By the Book
Chorus:
Live by the Book, the Book of love
Live by the Book, the Book of truth
Live by the Word, and faith will grow
Because the love of God is true.
Live by the Book, the Book of love
Live by the Book, the Book of truth
Live by the Word, and faith will grow
Because the love of God’s in you.
God has the answer
It is simple plain and true.
If you live by the Book
The love of God will live in you.
His Words will bath you in mercy
Through His Son all things are clear
When you live by the Book
The Grace of God is always near.
Chorus:
When you look in the Book
You’ll find a source of faith and truth.
If you live by the Word
The Grace of God will carry you
This evil world will have no holds
The chains of sin will fall away
If you live by the Book
Your life will never be the same.
Chorus:
His son came to save us
From a life of misery
You know He died on the cross
On a hill called Calvary.
He lived as man to know our sorrows
To understand the battles faced
He gave His life and rose from death
He bore our sins and took our shame.
He sent His Son to die for us
He sent His Son to show the way
He gave His word through Jesus Christ
And gave what teaches us each day.
Live by the Book, the Book of love
Live by the Book, the Book of truth
Live by the Word, and faith will grow
Because the love of God’s in you. (Repeat 1X)

I wonder on with no where to go.
My life seems empty cold and bitter.
I’ve lost my way, and I’ve no where left to go.
I looked beyond this world of sinners,
I looked to where I knew He’d be,
And there He was giving grace to seekers.

Walk In His Footsteps
Walk in His footsteps, He will lead you Home
He came to us from God above
His Grace and Mercy are a gift to you
He shed His blood to show His Love
His life is blessed by the Fathers Love
He spread the Word and showed the Way
He lived no sin so at the Father’s side
He could stand and deliver us; deliver us one day.
Walk in His footsteps, He will lead you Home
Trust in His Word and live again
He takes our sins and washes clean our souls
He stands between God and man
The Lamb is forgiveness from the Father’s love
He died to save our sorry souls
He rose from death so at the Father’s side
He could stand and deliver us; deliver us one day.
He could stand and deliver us; deliver us one day.
He could stand and deliver us; deliver us one day.
What Armor to Pack
Verse 1:
I seem to run from here to there,
Without ever getting anywhere.
My days are blurs of rush and go.
I’m asking you Lord to help me know.
Which Paths to take, which roads to cross.
What armor to pack as I walk Your talk.
Which Paths to take, which roads to cross.
What armor to pack as I walk Your talk.
Verse 2:
Turn left, turn right, go forward go back,
Remember His hand is always at you back.
Just listen and learn His words are true,
His grace and salvation are saving you.
His paths to take, His roads to walk.
His armor to pack as you walk His talk.
His paths to take, His roads to walk.
His armor to pack as you walk His talk.
His paths to take, His roads to walk.
His armor to pack as you walk His talk.
His paths to take, His roads to walk.
His armor to pack as you walk His talk.
Verse 3:
Go spread His Word, from far and near.
Hold His light high with no fear.
His words are there for all to hear.
So spread His gospel and make it clear.
Which Paths to take, which roads to cross.
What armor to pack as you walk His talk.
Which Paths to take, which roads to cross.
What armor to pack as you walk His talk.
