At the age of ten, Don Kincaid began singing after his best friend asked him to come to the Christmas program musical tryouts. Don tagged along to keep him company and watched his friend sing a solo. The teacher asked if he would like to try, and tentatively accepting, Don ended up singing the "Oh Holy Night" solo at the school program. Since his debut in grade school, he has been singing ever since.
Taking voice lessons all through high school, Don decided to pursue voice and theatre in college. He attended DePauw University and Illinois State University. After college, Don began working in the construction industry and continued to do so for the next 26 years. During that time, he always stayed active in theatre and singing.
After much prayer and consideration, Don resigned his position in December of 2002, and started a life in Christian ministry as a singer and song writer. Don is publishing and recording the music the Lord has put in his heart and continues to use his musical talents in service to God through his inspirational concerts and recording.
Don is presently an Elder and worship leader at Christ's Family Church in Davenport, Iowa. He also serves as head of the drama team. His other ministries include: teaching leader for fifth and sixth graders in the local "Bible Study Fellowship" program and recently trained as a "Natural Church Development" coach. He sings for weddings, funerals, baptisms and special events in the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities and Northwest Iowa. Over the years, Don has performed in numerous theatrical performances in the Quad Cities, including acting as Leonardo da Vinci in Christ's Family Church's rendition of the Living Lord's Supper. Numerous roles at Play Crafters Barn Theatre include: Big Daddy in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", Harpagon in "The Miser", Bollie in "Driving Miss Daisy", and Atticus in "To Kill a Mockingbird".
With God's help, Don hopes to use the gifts and abilities God has blessed him with to reach out and minister to the hearts of those seeking to have a relationship with our Lord and Savior.
